We are ecstatic you joined us, had fun the IGBO way, and helped us put on another successful tournament! Our traditional post-tournament audit is complete, scores are certified, and checks are signed! Certified Dogwood 2024 results are available to view/download/print!
For those who won money, your tournament winnings checks are mailed/postmarked on Monday, April 29th, 2024, to the address you verified during registration and signed at tournament check-in. All checks include itemized winnings. If you do not receive your check in the next week, please contact directors@dogwoodbowl.org, and we’ll connect you to our tournament treasurer.
Below are fun facts to share about our Dogwood 2024 Tournament:
- We had 232 Bowlers with four sub-replacements
- Bowlers outside GA traveled to Dogwood from AL, CT, FL, IL, MD, MI, MO, NC, OH, SC, TN, TX, VA, and WI. (42% from out of state)
- The lowest entering average was 103; the highest was 247. 60 bowlers had a 200 or higher entering average.
- Dark-Horse Doubles’ optional side pot has a whopping 712 entries! Our highest participation to date.
- We sold 636 mini-bracket boards. Thank you, Huntsville team, with the Rocket City Invitational Tournament!
- We completed 12 Mega Brackets Boards this year
- Our total Dogwood 2024 prize fund payout was a little over $41,000.
- We signed 124 tournament-winning checks. Essentially 53% of our bowlers/guests are getting money!
