Thank you to all the bowlers who signed up for Dogwood’s inaugural Virtual Team Challenge in January 2024. We will expand on this next year as we have gotten great feedback on the event. We had 18 teams participate. We are paying out the top three team placements.

This is a fundraiser for the Dogwood Invitational Bowing Classic. You can purchase a square on our Super Bowl LVIII AFC vs. NFC football game board. Squares are $10 each. Payouts are $125 for Q1, Q2, Q3, and Final Game Score. Your Team Virtually Plays Against Other IGBO Teams: Sign up any four IGBO league members—even those in different leagues. You (individually) can bowl in as many virtual 4-person team combinations as you want. Your handicap bowling scores during League play the week of January 20th, 2024, count towards your team(s) aggregate scores. Team Payout is 1:8. Handicap is 90% of 240. Bowl against local, regional, or national teams across the IGBO community. Is your team up to the challenge?

Dogwood 2024 returns to the more conveniently accessible Atlanta Marriott North East/Emory area just off I-85. Our hotel rate is an incredible $99/night for single and quad. Our rate did not go up from Dogwood 2023 either! These are rates we had back in 2008! Take that inflation!!

The Dogwood 2024 committee is excited to announce our Dogwood Holiday No-Tap Tournament. It will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at Bowlero Lilburn – our official tournament house. Bring an unwrapped, boxed, or packaged toy. We will donate the toys to “Toys for Tots.” For each toy you bring, you get a 50/50 raffle ticket.

Want to celebrate extra Holiday cheer? Do you feel lucky? Each evening in December 2023 at 6:59 PM Georgia Lottery draws a three-digit number. If your ticket number matches that draw number, you win the prize amount listed in the calendar. Choose your number(s) if available (000-999). We are giving away a possible $1075 in December 2023.

Thank you to all 243 bowlers (and subs) that bowled in our 40th Anniversary Dogwood Invitational Bowling Classic in Atlanta, GA, April 6–9, 2023. We are so grateful you joined us, had fun, and helped us celebrate our 40th Anniversary in style! A special thank you to all the nationwide volunteers who helped our Committee stretch its wings to two shifts this year. Our traditional post-tournament audit is complete, scores are certified, and checks are signed! Effective today, final Dogwood 2023 results are available to view/print!

Thank you so much to those participating in our Dogwood 9-Pin N0-Tap Tournament this past Saturday, February 25, 2023, at Bowlero Lilburn. We had 58 bowlers compete, sold 50/50 raffles, held two strike pots, and gave out special bonus raffle prizes. We have results now for you.
